The children that will be participating in the ‘O.L.L.Y Olympics’ will be from communities where their is high deprivation, poverty, unemployment and high crime rate. The benefits that this will bring to such children will be immense, the benefits will be that they will be out and away from their communities and the environment within them. It will introduce them to different types of sport. It will benefit children who have no confidence. It will also help over the three days being healthy by doing three days of sports. Each child will be given a piece of fruit and a drink which will be bottled water. They will enjoy the open space and the nature of that open space where the sports days will be held.
The benefits for these children will also help them make new friends, it will also give the children motivation and well being.
